pianopad-20070415 bug

Postby cris » Thu Apr 19, 2007 18:08

Latest Piano Launchpad (see subject... should be v1.6b) apparently has a bug: when I right-click on any of the buttons, no popup-menu is shown.
Previous release (1.5b) worked well.

Is it a known bug?

ok, discussing with the developers.

in any case, to minimize bugs: ePager properties -> Sticky windows -> Add Piano Launchpad

Hi Cris

I just downloaded the latest and have no problems bringing up a popup menu when right clicking on a program object in the piano launchpad.

There is one bug I have found. When I open the piano lauchpad's properties, the right side of the some text is missing on some lines. I run at 1440x900 (wide screen) and is probably why I see it. This was also a problem with Herwig Bauernfeind's WPIview program which he has since corrected, but it took several attempts. You may want to contact him at

herwig dot bauernfeind at aon dot at

to find out what his solution was. By the way, WPIView is a great program for viewing, editing and installing WPI files.

Another bug?

Postby Gabriele » Wed Apr 25, 2007 19:43

Hi all,

I have the PM Downloader object on the Pianopad. This object has "....pmd.exe" as "Path and file name" in the "Program" tab.
Now, I'm trying to associate pmdd_ico_64px.png to such object. I select it from the "Select PNG file" window and I get the message: "This object is a program. Add PNG icon to executable file EAs?", then I choose Yes but nothing happens. Same problem with 4os2.exe, while, e.g., firefox.exe, pmview.exe and video2.exe get their PNG icon without any problem.
